SUMMARY
Customization, personalization, intelligent analysis, location-based services, real-time fraud detection, actionable alerts, and multi-channel notifications have collectively improved the user experience, enhanced security, and provided users with greater control over their financial lives. As mobile banking continues to evolve, we at the bank are striving for further advancements in alert systems, empowering users with even more valuable and actionable insights.
MY ROLE
I worked on this project as a visual designer. I also assisted my UX partner on ideation. My role was to determine, gather and set up multiple screens for dozens of alerts in font styles, button styles and components (from TD Bank’s robust design libraries) to plug in with the UX design. I was to create all the visual assets, create multiple iterations of designs, manage content creators and researchers and work hand in hand with product owners.
REQUIREMENTS
This project was to be designed for the desktop browser and the native mobile application. The feature was required to enable users to add, edit and delete their alerts and our team focussed on the bank account alerts and debit card alerts. The flow needed to contain happy path flows as well as error scenarios.
VISUAL DESIGNS
For the visual designs on this project I assembled core elements like typography, button styles, iconography, component styles and other design patterns from TD Bank’s desktop and mobile design system libraries and laid them together into functional screens and flows. I worked on the happy paths like add alert, edit alert and delete alert for multiple bank account alerts as well as debit card alerts and their respective error scenarios. I created these designs for desktop screens and the native mobile application. This work initially began on XD and was later moved to Figma.
